A lot of healthcare treatments that once were just performed in the hospital or a doctor’s office can now be performed at your own home through home health care. American Health Services provides home health services in Broadway Seattle Washington. Medicare can help pay for you to get certain healthcare services at your home if you meet the requirements. Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older, certain younger people with disabilities, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a transplant, sometimes called ESRD). Medicare covers two things: A) Hospital insurance and B) Medical Insurance. Home health services falls under part B – medical insurance. But to fully understand how Medicare works with home health care, we have provided you with three points you should take note of.
